Day 151 of 365 Days With God

When you are tempted to throw in the towel or discouragement takes hold of your heart, know that you are truly loved by God beyond measure. No matter how bad things might look, take a moment to remember who it is you serve. God will help you!

Psalms 3: 2 – 7

2many are saying of me, there is no help for him in God. [Selah]3But thou, O LORD, art a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.4I cry aloud to the LORD, and he answers me from his holy hill. [Selah]5I lie down and sleep; I wake again, for the LORD sustains me.6I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me round about.7Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! For thou dost smite all my enemies on the cheek, thou dost break the teeth of the wicked.

Day 150 of 365 Days WIth God

Be assured that he who shall always walk  faithfully in God’s presence, always ready to give Him an account of all his  actions, shall never be separated from Him by consenting to sin.

—  St Thomas Aquinas

Day 149 of 365 Days With God

He who faithfully prays to God for the necessaries of this life is both mercifully heard, and mercifully not heard. For the physician knows better than the sick man what is good for the disease.

— St. Augustine

Day 148 of 365 Days With God

Today is the Feast of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. In order for us to experience true growth and change, we must be willing to face the truth about who we are and how we are living our lives. We certainly have our own expectations of what we want out of life and we can set our own goals. But, how often do we sit back and invite God into the process. When we allow God to direct our thoughts and actions we will experience more freedom not less.

With God, all things are possible including; just look at what happened to St. Paul. God has a desire to bring each and everyone of us into the fullness of who He has created us to be. His mercy is great and available to us right now. We can be forgiven and made brand new. He has called you on this day to trust Him with everything you’ve got: surrender to His will today and delight in the love of being transformed.

“Go out to all the world and tell the Good News.” Mark 16:15

Day 147 of 365 Days With God

An action of small value performed with much love of God is far more excellent than one of a higher virtue, done with less love of God.

— St Francis de Sales

Day 146 of 365 Days of God

Today is the Annual March For Life in Washington, D.C. Hundreds of Thousands of souls will stand up for the innocent unborn who have no voice. God’s most precious gift to each one of us is life, and for that gift we praise and thank him.

Throughout your day today please join millions across this globe in praying for an end to abortion. The sanctity and protection of all human life should be the up-most of importance to all of us. Each and every life (born or unborn)  is valuable to God.

God Bless You

“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”

                                                                                                                    (Matthew 25:40)

Day 145 of 365 Days With God

Oh how precious time is! Blessed are those who know how to make good use of it. Who can assure us that we will be alive tomorrow? Let us listen to the voice of our conscience, to the voice of the royal prophet: “Today if you hear God’s voice, harden not your heart.” Let us not put off for one moment to another what we “should” do, because the next moment is not yet ours!

—  Saint Pio of Pietrelcina
